Sunday church dresses double as bathing suits for the Byler sisters below the Casselman River Bridge in Grantsville, Maryland. Rising stone by stone in 1813 like a lone cathedral tibia, the 50-foot (15.2 m) highway arch was designed to clear a canal that never came. On the bridge passes Rt. 40, Marylands section of the Historic National Road.
